Love! Love! Love!

I am so loving our custom illustrated picture done by Katie Moon! She is so talented and made my family even more beautiful then I could have possibly imagined! I had heard about Katie and oohmoon through Lindsay Teague Moreno and when I saw hers, I knew I had to have one too! I really wanted to just capture time right now and freeze it! My girls are at the perfect ages right now and I know it a couple of years our family will be changing! Weegie is a junior, Speedy is almost in high school and Squiggler will be in Kindergarten!

Katie did a fantastic job capturing our family and our love for each other! The girls love it and so does my honey! I have big plans for this picture in our house! Thanks Katie and to my mom for helping me get this! It's my birthday/Christmas/lots of presents for the next year gift! LOL! I also feel so Blessed and fortunate because Katie will no longer be doing these types of illustrations. So glad I met her before she stopped! God is good all the time!

Mommy/Daughter Day and a Date!

For some reason this picture will not go the right way. Oh well! Today was a cool day because my oldest daughter and I were invited to Clinique for a free facial. Well, when we got there it wasn't just a facial, but a make over and manicure too! We are very good Clinique customers and don't buy all the time, but we have learned to buy wisely and they always remember us. We have our favorite girl, Natalie, she is the best and the one that invited us! We also have a new 2nd favorite, Meagan, and really like all the ladies there! We started with our facials, followed with parrafin waxes on our hands, then make overs with the polish and nail design last. We had such a great time, met some other great customers and learned a thing or two. We were there 2 hours and it didn't even seem that long.

Meagan did Weegie's makeup and she did a fabulous job! These pictures do it no justice! It was so pretty and natural and made her eyes pop!!! Weegie loves make up and I told her she should experiment more with it and on her friends! Maybe I will let her experiment on me too! LOL! Afterwards we went to CPK and had a delicious lunch!!! It was great and so relaxing!

My honey and I also had a date night! We decided to go out to dinner since I was all dolled up. LOL! Why waste good make up. We had a yummy meal at Sisley in Valencia. They treated us really well. He had Linguini and clams while I had chicken with goat cheese! Oh my! To die for! We also had dessert, flourless chocolate cake, that I would definately want to eat again. Afterwards we walked around and my honey bought a new shirt and I bought Squiggler a new dress! Too cute and I can't wait to take her picture in it. LOL! Blogger just ate my post! Good thing I saved it! Speedy Cheetah has auditions this week for her choice of study for the next two years! I sooo hope she gets her first choice. She is extremely talented and she is a hard worker! We only have 15 more days of school and Weegie is already done! My plan is to blog more and fill in the things I started, but haven't finished. I am so ready for summer!!!!!

Happy Father's Day 2010

Happy Father's Day to my Honey! Today is his day and all he wants to do is enjoy it at home and some grilled salmon. That's easy to do! I took some pixs with him and his girls today! They are all Daddy's Girls in their own way! We went to the mall and got him a Dodger shirt and a book he wanted. The girls are making him homemade cards and they are making one for Squiggler to sign too. (She thinks she can write her name.)
Here is my hubby with Weegie, our first born. The day she was born I remembered that he looked at me and said, "You're going to have to be the disciplinarian." He wasn't kidding! This girl has her daddy wrapped around her finger. She is 14 now and is turning into your typical teenager. All of a sudden we don't know anything and she knows everything. I hope we can make it through the next 6 years!!! I know he loves her so much and she loves him too!
Here is Speedy Cheetah and her daddy. She is his Nature Buddy. She will go camping with him, hiking, to the library and pretty much anywhere he asks. She is always up for an adventure with her daddy. She is 11 and her daddy knows everything!! Hope that doesn't change when she turns 14! LOL!
Here he is with Squiggler. She LOVES her daddy! When I come home she gets excited, but when her daddy walks through the door, forget me, she only wants him. She loves to go outside with him too and she loves to have him take her for long walks. He reads to her everyday and teaches her where her nose and other body parts are. He is also teaching her the colors and ABC's.
I got lucky and have the best hubby! He is such an amazing dad and all around guy! My tia always said, "Marry the man that treats you like a princess." and I did! Yay me! I couldn't be more Blessed! (Even when he drives me crazy by throwing Squiggler's food away!)
I couldn't resist posting this cute pix of the Sguiggler. She is modeling her new boots. She had some cute brown boots, but they are too small for her. She found them on Saturday and demanded that I put them on her. Well they wouldn't fit and she was so sad, so when we went to the mall I bought her some news ones that where on sale for $9.99. She is very happy with her new boots and wore them to church. Everytime I told her to show someone her new boots, she would stick her foot out. Too cute!

Let's Go Dodgers!

My hubby and I had a date tonight! We went to a Dodger game! Just the two of us! I have always loved the Dodgers and so has my hubby. He use to go to a lot of games pre-children, but then he stopped going and last year he went to a couple and this year he invited me. I had so much fun and it brought back soooo many memories! My family always went to Opening Day with my grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. It was a family affair! I even bought myself a new Dodger shirt just to wear to the game!
Our seats were in the Top Deck and we had great seats. We were able to see all the action and there was a lot of it! The Dodger pitcher beaned a Detroit player in the head. It wasn't pretty, but thankfully the guy seemed okay. There was 2 homeruns hit and my beloved Dodgers won!! Yay! Hubby is going to take me to one more game this season I think! I might get a Manny Ramirez jersey? I'm not sure yet? Oh and the Dodger dogs were just delicious!!
Look a whole post without a mention of kids! LOL!
